Just About James Warranty

All new watches sold by Just About James come with warranty coverage and direct support from our team.

3-year warranty

All new watches sold by Just About James include a 3-year legal warranty against manufacturing defects and functional issues, in accordance with current legislation.

What does the warranty cover?

Manufacturing defects.

Movement failures.

Functional issues resulting from a product defect.

Original defective components.

What is not covered by the warranty?

Impacts or drops.

Broken glass.

Water damage resulting from use contrary to the manufacturer’s specifications.

Normal wear and tear.

Straps, batteries and other consumable items.

Handling, opening or repair carried out by third parties.

Damage caused by improper use of the product.

Warranty procedure

If you detect an issue that you believe is covered by the warranty, you must contact us and provide:

Order number.

Detailed description of the issue.

Photographs or video whenever possible.

After an initial assessment, we will tell you how to proceed in order to send us the item.

The customer is responsible for arranging and paying the initial shipment of the item for inspection.

Just About James may optionally offer a shipping label through its usual logistics operators.

Once the item has been received, we will carry out a technical inspection and issue a decision.

If the warranty is accepted

If the issue is covered by the warranty:

We will proceed with repair, replacement or refund, as applicable.

We will reimburse the reasonable cost of the initial shipment used to send the item to our facilities, provided that it corresponds to a standard tracked service or has been previously authorised by Just About James.

Urgent, premium or insured services contracted without prior authorisation will not be reimbursed.

If the warranty is not accepted

If the issue is not covered by the warranty:

The initial shipping cost will not be reimbursed.

We will inform you of our decision.

Whenever possible, we will provide you with a repair estimate.

If you accept the estimate, we will proceed with the repair and return of the item.

If you reject the estimate and wish to recover the item, the return shipping costs will be your responsibility.

Consumer legal rights

This warranty applies to new watches sold directly by Just About James and does not affect the legal rights that consumers may have under current legislation.
